Calgary’s cool, rainy summer led to golden rod, foliage and grasses to crowd tight trails and grow to chest height ( for me), while wild rose blooming season stretched over months, Clear nights with aurora and full moon sightings were lovely rarities among skies often overcast or painted with cool thundering supercells. This piece was inspired by all of it.
